“Falling” heralds Savoca’s much anticipated new EP, ACT 1 – MANIFESTO, due via Band Of Others early next year. The first of three unique four-song projects, the EP will arrive accompanied by a series striking companion visuals, self-directed and edited by Savoca during lockdown earlier this year.
With her powerful melodies, lyrical vulnerability, and new era alt-pop approach, Elisa Savoca is fast proving a major young artist. The 19-year-old San Diego native grew up in a home that rang out with music – much of it from Savoca herself, whose constant vocalizing in the bathroom prompted her dad to dub her “The Shower Singer.” She pursued her dream by teaching herself piano and guitar, playing with local punk bands, and performing at San Diego’s famed SOMA, where her wide-ranging, deeply personal songcraft soon earned her a fervent fan following.
Now based in Los Angeles, Savoca went global with her self-released breakthrough EP, ONE OF US, highlighted by the hit single, “Circles,” which reached Spotify’s Viral 50 charts across Europe upon its initial release. Additional music – including undeniable tracks like “Serpents,” “Salt,” and a scintillating cover of the Nancy Sinatra classic, “Bang Bang,” the latter performed in her role as part of the acclaimed Flight of Voices independent artists collective – followed, receiving placement in such MTV series as Teen Mom and Siesta Key, while also furthering her unique artistic vision and increasing connection with audiences everywhere.
Despite its many difficulties, 2020 has been a busy one for the aesthetically adventurous Savoca. Along with ACT 1 – MANIFESTO, its upcoming companion EPs, and remarkable self-directed visuals, she recently performed a stark, stripped-bare rendition of “Falling“ as part of Venice, CA’s innovative Winston House sessions, streaming via YouTube HERE.

“The thing that keeps me going through life is music,” says Savoca, “and the life it can give a person. Every time I go on stage, I tune out everything that’s happening around me and just feel the music. When I see someone enjoying the music as much as I am it makes me feel transcended. Every human being feels the emotion of sadness, self-doubt and anxiety but music can make that person feel happy, calm and beautiful.”
