BIOGRAPHY

Spawning from the mountainous terrain of Logan, Utah, Maz has entered this era to exhibit her mammoth take on alt-pop/rock. At only 20-years-old, she premiered her first official release “How Does It Feel” on Zane Lowe's World First show on Apple Music in September 2022. Maz's indie success led to additional support from Spotify's Fresh Finds team, with Maz gracing the cover of the playlist in late October.

At the age of 15, Maz jumped into music on a whim based purely off of a desire to create. Posting some of her early work to SoundCloud, traction quickly built as others latched onto the lyrical relatability of being cheated on by a skater. Flash forward five years, Maz is now the first artist that Early Rising is releasing music with through their distribution deal with Elektra.

With inspiration from her upbringing skating and snowboarding in a small mountain town, Maz created her follow up single “Maybe Love,” available everywhere now. She teamed up with fellow Utahn, Tyler Harris, and Still Woozy collaborators, Bobbing and Cole Williams to perfect the new single. The coming months will see Maz’s domination and upheaval of the alt-pop-scape continue to spread like wildfire.
