Digital-era songwriter Veronica Everheart resides between her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona and New York City, going from the desert to the concrete and back again. Synthesizing the emotion of Joni Mitchell and the electronic subtext of Nine Inch Nails, Everheart works with her creative partner Junius Karr (Gordon Raphael, The Hellp, Gift) to create futuristic-post-alternative singer/songwriter filled with grungy instrumentals, sticky melodies and vocal glitches. Her songwriting reflects on growing up and her perception of self, resulting in deeply profound and inter-dimensional tracks. Everheart is an essential member of Phoenix’s music scene, and is a go-to opening act when contemporaries like The Hellp, Hannah Vu and Slow Hollows pass through.
